A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 struck western

も23人のケガ人が出て、1995年の多くの死者を出した神戸の地震のトラウマ的な
鮮明な記憶を引き起こしたと、気象庁は述べた。

兵庫県の淡路島で、震度６弱という強い地震が発生。死者は出ませんでしたが、
家屋が壊れたり、地割れが起きたり、液状化現象が起きたりと、被害が出まし
た。

震源は1995年に6000名以上の犠牲者を出した、阪神淡路大震災に近い位置。
「早朝」という点も同様でした。

阪神淡路大震災や、今後予想されている南海トラフ大地震との関連を疑う声も
ありますが、今のところ「まったく未知の活断層が引き起こした」と見られてい
ます。
